Dana Vuzman, Ph.D.

Chief Informatics Officer at One Brave Idea, Instructor at Harvard Medical School

Dana Vuzman, Ph.D., joined One Brave Idea in April 2018.  She is the Chief Informatics Officer (CIO) and Mower Fellow responsible for Computational Genomics and the Integrative Analytics at One Brave Idea. As a Mower Fellow, Dana will leverage her experience in biomedical informatics and personalized medicine to understand the very earliest forms of coronary heart disease by exploring the combination of genetic, phenotypic and environmental data. Dana has over 10 years of experience in leading Biomedical Informatics projects in academia and industry. Prior to joining One Brave Idea, Dana served as Senior Director of Biomedical Informatics at KEW, Inc., Director at Brigham Genomic Medicine and Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She earned her Ph.D. in Computational Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science and completed her postdoctoral training in Computational Genetics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
